Tenant

What is a Tenant?

A tenant refers to an individual customer organization that uses cybernality based on a subscription. Each tenant represents a distinct and isolated group of users who share common access and usage requirements. cybernality is designed to serve multiple tenants simultaneously while ensuring their data and configurations are segregated and secure. Tenants on cybernality share the same physical infrastructure (e.g., servers, databases) but are logically isolated from one another. Data, configurations, and user access are tenant-specific, ensuring privacy and security. Our multi-tenancy architecture uses a “Shared Database with Row-based Segregation” → A single database and tables are shared, with tenant data identified using a unique tenant ID.

Why do I need it?

A tenant is the basis for using cybernality. Without a tenant and a valid subscription, cybernality cannot be used. A tenant also ensures that you as a user can work securely in your own environment and configure it according to your requirements.
