Mastodon Integration

Mastodon is a decentrally organised social network. In contrast to others (such as X), anyone can operate and manage their own instance. With cybernality, it is now very easy to have the many distributed cybersecurity-relevant information in one place.

How does the integration work?

  1. We look at every single post (toot) in the entire Mastodon universe and check its cybersecurity relevance.

  2. We extract the relevant information and create an entry in our cyberintelligence graph.

  3. If the post contains references to web articles etc., we also check these and create corresponding entries with the relations to the Mastodon post.

How can I use this information?

The current advantage of the integration is that cybernality has access to a large amount of constantly new cybersecurity information. The security news extracted from the Mastodon posts can be consumed via the cybernaltiy feeds. There are also plans to create feeds for Mastodon posts in the future.
